Research
Finding evidence in healthcare implementation, patient pathways, and system adoption.
My research focuses on how therapies, technologies and models of care move into real-world clinical use. It sits at the intersection of healthcare implementation, patient pathways, multidisciplinary care, health systems innovation and AI-enabled evidence generation.

I study how innovation is adopted in practice, where implementation breaks down, and which organisational, clinical and system conditions make delivery more effective, measurable and scalable. Across these themes, my work combines strategy, public data, clinical context and applied analysis.

Earlier in my career, this kind of work took a different form: reconstructing human populations through ancient genomics. Today, the object has changed, but the underlying habit has not — disciplined analysis of complex, messy data under constraint.

My earlier academic research in ancient genomics and human prehistory included first-author publications in Science and Scientific Reports, with international coverage in outlets including Smithsonian, New Scientist and Nature News.
